Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

If you are willing to pay for reasonable travel expenses, then I'll be on that plane to take your photos in a heartbeat! Near or far I want to get some amazing pictures of your special day! Let's get in contact so we can plan what you want this trip to look like!

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

I would love to do your engagement session!! My engagement shoots are not included in my wedding package prices but scheduling one is a fantastic way for you to get a better feel of how I work, for me to understand your story better, to get consistent photos across the board, and for us to just connect!

3. HOW LONG TILL I RECEIVE THE FINAL PHOTOS?

I send a sneak peak wedding gallery to you within the first week after your wedding! It then takes me 4-6 weeks to edit and get you the rest of your gallery! I am often editing multiple shoots at one time so I need those weeks to give your photos the attention they deserve.

4. What do you do if there is bad weather?

Ah yes the eerie question haha don't worry I always have a back-up plan with my couples! I make sure to discuss what their thoughts are on bad weather and what to do in the event that it happens. I have had to shoot in poor weather before and have still been able to deliver quality photos. I am committed to giving my couples my best rain or shine!

5. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING POLICY?

Great question! I know sometimes things don't pan out like we hope. My contract states that I need a written notice at a minimum of 100 days before the original wedding date for your cancellation or reschedule. If I am unavailable to be your photographer on your new date, then it will be deemed a cancellation. All payments and fees you have paid up to that point are not refundable. If it is a non-wedding shoot, it is usually much easier to reschedule and I would be happy to do so!

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! I love to see inspo and hear what you want! I have some poses that I think are must-haves for shoots and that I have seen most clients really love but if you have some that you would really like to try then I will be sure to incorporate them! This shoot is about you, not me!

7. Can we meet before the session?

Of course! I like to set up a phone call a month before a wedding to go over all the final details and to make sure that I am on the same page with you and that I am able to get the best photos possible! I will also often set up a call when you are first booking with me but if meeting in person is more your vibe, that works great for me too! I really value making a connection with my couples as I feel it helps me be a better photographer for them so if you want to meet at a Starbucks and chat, then lets do it!

8. Do you edit all of our pictures?

Absolutely! I do not like sending RAW images as I feel it takes away too much of my art. All final images will be edited for either color or black and white in a way that is consistent with my style. I also often do retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening while still retaining your natural self! I edit to enhance not to reconfigure.
